Time control means that defined redirects take place e.g. within a certain period of time. In all undefined times, the calls are then put through to the mailbox, for example.
The time settings can be found in a routing plan or directly in a phone number. By using routing plans, you can make the time control even more extensive.
You can activate a simple time control in the forwarding settings of your phone number or your routing plan. Here you can specify the times and days of the week when the incoming call will be put through to you. Your mailbox is activated for the rest of the time.
Another option is the advanced time control. Here you can explicitly define public holidays or days with a specific date, as well as details to the minute for forwarding.
If no dates are stored, the selected days of the week apply. If no time periods are stored, either the entire weekday or the specific date selected always applies.
Examples of advanced settings
Date "12/24/ 25/12" and no time period:
Valid all day on December 24th and December 25th
Days "Mon, Tue, Wed" and no time span:
Valid all day every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
Date "12/24/ 25/12" and time period 12: 00-13:00:
Valid on December 24th and December 25th between 12:00 - 13:00
Days "Mon, Tue, Wed" and time period 12:00-13:00 and 15:00-18:00:
Valid every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday between 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
